The Adams Memorial Foundation is currently planning the Adams Family Memorial; a national memorial to John Adams and his family.  The Foundation is responsible for securing the memorial site, fundraising, and the construction of the memorial. Presently, the Adams Memorial Foundation is in the early stages of planning for the memorial.  Obviously, building a national memorial is no easy task and will take years to plan and build.  In fact, it has been almost five years since Congress voted to create the Adams Memorial Foundation in June 2001.

This website is dedicated to providing background information for the Adams Family Memorial.  This website also provides a brief history of several members of the Adams family.

"I long to hear that you have declared an independancy—and by the way in the new Code of Laws which I suppose it will be necessary for you to make I desire you would Remember the Ladies, and be more generous and favourable to them than your ancestors. Do not put such unlimited power into the hands of the Husbands. Remember all Men would be tyrants if they could. If perticuliar care and attention is not paid to the Laidies we are determined to foment a Rebelion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any Laws in which we have no voice, or Representation."
